Over the past 8 years, Tjin Edition has partnered with some of the top OEM manufacturers in the world including Chevy, Pontiac, Scion, and Honda – And for last year’s 2010 SEMA Show, Tjin Edition joined forces with Ford Motor Company. On this 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT based project, Tjin Edition led by Neil, Mei, Gene, Kylie and Collin Tjin along with Adam Carpenter from Unique Fabrication have definitely continued to push the envelope and step outside the box.

Tjin Edition teamed up with Josh Cloud from Gurnade Design Firm, who produced the rendering for the Tjin Edition Mustang. As with all Tjin Edition projects, the Mustang was completely stripped, gutted, and transformed into a truly impressive piece of automotive machinery. Tjin Edition teamed up with Vortech Superchargers, MagnaFlow Exhaust, American Racing Headers, Nitrous Express and Royal Purple to give their project pony’s Coyote 5.0 engine some serious GO !!!

To compliment the “GO” aspect of the build, this Tjin Edition Ford Mustang 5.0 GT features some equally impressive “SHOW” aspects as well – Including a custom DuPont Cromax Pro paint job by Luis Rodriguez from L&R Paint and Body, Webasto sunroof, Unique Fabrication metal wing, Light WurkZ LED headlights and fog lights, Ignited HID’s, StreetGlow lighting, custom Third Shift Studio emblems, Trent Trick Upholstery bolts, and a custom designed Tjin Edition / Gurnade body kit produced by Extreme Dimensions.

The Tjin Edition Mustang’s suspension is highly modified with Air Lift Performance Air Suspension, and an Eibach anti-roll kit and trailing arms. The Mustang’s fenders tuck a custom set of 20” Forgestar CF5 (Concave Forgestar 5-spoke) wheels, which are matched up to super wide Falken tires. Sitting nicely behind the Forgestar wheels are a massive set of front and rear Baer rotors and calipers, which help this supercharged Ford Mustang stop on a dime and make change.

L&R Interiors has completely transformed the interior and audio set-up in the Tjin Mustang with a set of custom wrapped Status Racing seats and harnesses, Auto Meter Ford gauges, a STACK cluster, Innovative Motorsports 0T-2 unit, a AZENTEK smart mirror, a Recaro baby seat, Scosche wiring, Optima batteries, a Metra double-din trim panel, a Pioneer head-unit, and Image Dynamic speakers, subs, and amplifiers.

Perhaps the most impressive part of this build – The Tjin Edition Team and the various partners and sponsors mentioned above, all cooperated to pull this extensive and awesome project together in just six weeks !!!
