I just got back from an incredible message by Pat Williams at Saddleback Church. The forum started at 6:30am, not PM and I can’t believe how many men showed up to listen to Pat speak. There were over 1,000 guys in attendance, and the message that we heard was down right awesome. A few weeks ago when I heard that Pat was going to be the guest speaker, I told Mei that I wanted to go and hear what he had to say. Pat is the General Manager of the Orlando Magic and that instantly drew my attention. Not only is he the GM of the Magic, but he is also a Christian man and a father of 19 kids (14 adopted kids from 4 nations).
The message that he spoke about was 8 ingredients for a great team. I had no clue what the message was going to be about, but man was it powerful and a great wake up call for the journey that I am currently embarking on. This message doesn’t just pertain to the work environment, but to life in general. Below you will find some key notes that I took from this mornings message. Enjoy!

1- Have a team with outstanding talent
- Talent that is coachable and teachable
